Along the way you will learn the basics of sailing while enjoying the scenic views. Upon arrival in Tobermory you can explore the picturesque village, experience the local atmosphere and take in the surroundings.
Day 2: Sailing to Lunga, Staffa and Iona
On the second day we first sail to Lunga, an island famous for the puffins that breed there in large numbers. For many this is an absolute highlight of the voyage: seeing these charming birds in their natural environment is a truly special experience! After visiting Lunga we continue our journey to Staffa, where we can admire the impressive basalt columns and dramatic rock formations. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks makes this island a magical place. We then sail onward to Iona, where you can visit the historic abbey and enjoy the peaceful and serene atmosphere.
Day 3: Visit to the Abbey on Iona and anchoring in a bay on the south coast of Mull
On the morning of day 3 we visit the beautiful Abbey on Iona, a historic place known for its serene atmosphere and rich history. After exploring the abbey we set course for a stunning bay on the south coast of Mull where we drop anchor. This bay features white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. You can explore the surroundings or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere on the water. The evening ends with a cosy meal on board while the sun slowly sets over the island.
Day 4: Return to Oban
