Sailing in the Hebrides means navigating one of the most atmospheric and impressive landscapes in the United Kingdom. With Steady, the route is flexible and tailored to wind and weather. We may head north towards the Small Isles, or sail south via Mull towards the Treshnish Isles.
Expect panoramic mountain scenery, ancient coastal castles, lively harbours, hidden anchor bays and an abundance of wildlife. Every day brings new discoveries – boredom is not an option.
Southern route: Mull, Treshnish & Staffa
We sail along Mull, the second largest island of Scotland, known for its mountains, deep bays and colourful villages. We moor in Tobermory, Mull’s vibrant capital, where you can experience the local atmosphere.
A true highlight is Fingal’s Cave on Staffa. In calm weather, we explore the cave by dinghy or take a refreshing swim. The basalt formations and the sound of the waves create an almost magical experience.
Iona, a spiritual island, offers a peaceful anchorage with turquoise waters and white beaches. Visit the historic abbey and experience its serene, almost timeless atmosphere.
On Lunga, part of the Treshnish Isles, you can get up close to curious puffins – a dream for bird and nature lovers.
