Along the way, you will learn the basics of sailing and enjoy the picturesque views. Upon arrival in Tobermory, you can explore the charming village, experience the local atmosphere and take in the surroundings.
Day 2: To Staffa and Iona
On the second day, we sail to Staffa, where we can admire the impressive basalt columns and dramatic rock formations. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks makes this island a truly magical place. We then continue sailing to Iona, where you can visit the historic abbey and enjoy the peaceful and serene atmosphere.
Day 3: Visit to the abbey on Iona and anchoring in a bay on the south coast of Mull
On the morning of day 3, we visit the beautiful abbey on Iona, a historic site known for its serene atmosphere and rich history. After exploring the abbey, we set course for a beautiful bay on the south coast of Mull, where we drop anchor. This bay features white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. You can explore the surroundings or simply unwind on the water. The evening is concluded with a cosy meal on board, while the sun slowly sets over the island.
Day 4: Return to Oban
After three days of adventure at sea, we set course back to Oban. The final sailing day is a wonderful opportunity to once again enjoy the fresh air and the sense of freedom on the water. We arrive in Oban around 15:00, where we conclude our journey and say goodbye with a sense of fulfilment.
